 BUCKSKIN REGALIAS

To the left was the leggings we made FOR MARCIA .  To the right was a regalia we sold at the Chicago Pow Wow in 2000.  I did the airbrush paintings.

I made a white buckskin top for a woman who wanted "coyote woman" writing on the top and a picture of coyote by a pine tree.

I made another top to practice painting with.  This was sold, too.

WE MADE THEIR WEDDING REGALIAS.  THEY WERE MARRIED AT SAULT STE. MARIE POW WOW, JULY 3, 1999.  GUY LONGBOW AND VICTORIA ANNETTE MOORHEAD

The top that Mary Webster tried on was sold at the Summerfest'05 in Berea, Ohio.  She bought the pants and moccasins.

We made his chaps.  He like them better than the black tight pants he wore. taken Aug. 27, 2005 - Wild Rice Pow Wow.  Behind him was our booth.

 

I painted a wolf at the back of her regalia.(Check picture to the  right.)

It took me almost a year to finish Ira's reindeer coat.  I'm glad he liked it.  There are 4 reindeer tails on this coat: back, front, and the sleeves.  This time I think I got the hung of it.  I have another project to make for him and that's a fox coat for his daughter.  I'm very grateful to Ira and to all who believe in our work and products.

TOM HAD TO STAND ON THE CONCRETE LEDGE TO PAINT THESE SIGNS.  BETWEEN THE WALL AND THE LEDGE WAS A 2-FOOT OPENING.  TOM COULD HAVE FALLEN SOME 6 STORIES.  SIGN PAINTING WAS SOMETIMES DANGEROUS.
